Modoc Creation Myth

"When the Grizzlies Walked Upright" - a Modoc myth, gives us many different clues to who the Modoc people were, what they esteemed, and what they believed. In your chart, please record three truths that can be claimed after reading the story. These universal truths can be the same as some of your other myths, such as Chelan, Onondaga, or Navajo, or they can be an entirely new observation.

Three truths = two pieces of evidence...................................................................................

Look up another version of the Modoc myth. What similarities does it have?  Does it carry any differences?
