Junior Project - FAMOUS AMERICAN start!

Today, we are conducting preliminary research for our Famous American. Please do the following activities before you fill out your COMMITTEE FORM.

1. Watch the Prezi presentation on Famous Americans.
2. Explore the links on the right for websites for ideas.

3. When you have decided on your FAMOUS AMERICAN, locate a book or ebook using the LIBRARY DATABASES, which are free for Washougal students and a great resource.

4. Locate websites with a full biography of your topic by using SITE LIMITERS in the keyword search. Type in your topic and the words SITE:EDU, SITE:ORG, or SITE:NET


5. Create a NEW FOLDER in your GOOGLE DRIVE

      a. click on Google Drive
      b. locate the blue NEW button in the top left corner menu
      c. click button and select FOLDER
      d. entitle your folder JUNIOR PROJECT, where you will keep all research, forms, paper, and speech preparation documents. THIS WILL BE THE FINAL CHECK OFF AT THE END OF THE YEAR!!!

6. Fill out WITH DETAIL, the COMMITTEE FORM by MAKING A COPY INTO WORD AND RENAMING IT. This is the only way to enable editing of the document.

7. Show completed form to instructor to secure your topic.
